Gas Transport Company Established
An agreement was signed in Tunis on 9 June by A]geria's Sonatrach, Libya'sNational Oil Company and Tunisia's ETAP establishing the Arab Company for theTransportation of Natural Gas, with headquarters in Tunis. A protocol to thiseffect was initialed earlier on 22 March in Tunis (MEES, 28 March).
The company's initial function will focus on the undertaking of economicand technical feasibility studies for a 400 km....
