Al-Malik Confirmed as SAMA Deputy Governor
A royal decree was issued last week confirming Dr. Ahmad bin 'Abdallah al-Malikas Deputy Governor of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA). Previous to hisacting as Deputy Governor Dr. al-Malik had been Director General of ForeignInvestments at SAMA, which he joined in 1980 after retiring with the rank ofcolonel from the Saudi Armed Forces.
