Boussena Appointed Head of Sonatrach

Mr. Sadek Boussena, Secretary General of the Ministry for Energy, Chemicaland Petrochemical Industries, has been elected Managing Director of the stateoil firm Sonatrach. He replaces Mr. Muhammad Yousifi, who was appointed lastJune to a five-year term as chairman of the board of the newly establishedholding company, the Mining, hydrocarbons and Hydraulics Participation Fund (MHHPF).
