Technopromexport Awarded Yusifiya Power Station Contract
The Soviet Union's Technopromexport was awarded an ID241mn ($770mn) turnkey contract in June by Iraq's State Enterprise for Generation and Transmission of Electricity to build the 1,260 megawatt Yusifiya thermal power plant, south of Baghdad.
