New Pertamina President Appointed

The Indonesian Minister of Mines and Energy, Mr. Ginandjar Kartasasmita,announced on 9 August the appointment of Mr. Faizal Abda'oe as President of thestate-owned oil agency Pertamina, replacing Mr. Abdul Rachman Ramly who wasappointed Indonesian Ambassador to the US. Mr. Abda'oe, who has held the postof Pertamina's Director for Finance since 1981, will assume his new post as of19 August.
