Oil Prices Reduced by 50 Cents/B for First Half of September
Egypt has decided to reduce the prices of its various grades of crude oil by50 cents a barrel for the period 1-15 September because of "the continuingglut and unstable conditions in the world market." This is the second pricecut in a row, the first amounting to 90 cents a barrel having been introduced inthe second half of August. The two price cuts together have wiped out the$1.40/B increase...
