MEES understands that India's crude oil term contracts with Gulf oilproducers currently total 250,000 b/d with the following breakdown: 70,000 b/dof Basrah Light (ex-Yanbu') purchased directly from Iraq; 80,000 b/d of BasrahLight (ex-Yanbu') which is delivered by Iraq to India on behalf of the USSR;60,000 b/d from Saudi Arabia, priced at average Oman/Dubai plus 30 cents; 20,000b/d from Iran; and, 10,000 b/d each...
