World Bank Lends Algeria $160mn
The World Bank has agreed to lend Algeria $160mn to support the implementation of major investments in the country's power transmission network and to restructure the state-owned Sonelgaz's finances in order to make it "a more viable and efficient entity" through institution-building efforts, improving management, planning and engineering capabilities.
