Continental Shelf Agreement Signed
Libya and Malta on 10 November signed a demarcation agreement delineating theborders of the continental shelf between the two countries. The agreement,affirming a ruling by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on the subject,will open the way to offshore oil exploration in the disputed area.
