Elf/Aquitaine to Acquire 50% Equity Interest in Hunt's Offshore Concession
MEES learns that Elf/Aquitaine is to acquire a 50% equity interest in theoffshore concession held by the Yemen Hunt Oil Company (YHOC) a subsidiary ofHunt Oil of Dallas in return for the drilling of two offshore wells, under theterms of an agreement concluded recently between the two firms.
