Denmark Lends Egypt $22mn for Electricity Projects
Denmark agreed last month to supply Egypt with 200 km. of high-tensionelectric cable to carry electric power to Sinai. The agreement will be financedby a government loan and export credit facilities amounting to $15mn, to berepaid within 25 years, including a seven-year grace period. The Danishgovernment is also considering earmarking $7mn of a total loan of $30mn tosupply...
