OFID Lends $8mn to Arab Potash Company
The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) on 7 January signed fourloan agreements worth a total of $20mn, as follows: $7mn to India for therehabilitation of fertilizer projects; $6mn to Ethiopia for the Teppi coffeeplantation project; $2.6mn to Mali for the Lakes area agricultural project; and$4.4mn to Ghana for the Northern areas education project.
