Egypt Allocates $11bn for Oil Development in Coming Five-Year Plan
According to the Cairo daily al-Ahram of 9 February, the oil allocationsincluded in Egypt's five-year development plan which starts in July of this yearamount to E7.6bn ($10.86bn at the official rate of E1.00 = $1.4286), ofwhich Egypt's share is E3.7bn ($5.29bn) and that of the foreign partners isE3.9bn ($5.57bn).
