IDB Approves Tunisian Loans, Disburses Jordanian Loan
The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) on 11 February approved two loans tofinance Tunisia's foreign trade. A $4mn loan to pay for cotton imports by twostate textile firms and another $4mn loan to buy coal, steel and tin for thestate-owned steel plant were approved. On 9 February the DUB signed a $15mn loanwith Jordan to finance imports of crude oil.
