Kuwait Considers Exempting Iraq From Reparation Payments

Kuwait is considering exempting Iraq from reparations payments which were compensation for losses caused by the Iraqi invasion and occupation. The payments were being made under the UNs Chapter 7 ruling under which Iraq is required to pay part of its oil export income to Kuwait.
