US Crude Oil Imports up 30% in 1986
Spurred by low world oil prices, US imports of crude oil increased by1,025,064 b/d, or 29.7%, to 4,479,097 b/d in 1986 from 3,454,033 b/d in 1985,according to statistics published in the March issue of the Petroleum Economist(see table below).
