EEC Grants $3mn to Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon
The European Commission announced on 9 March that it will grant ECU 2.7mn($3mn) in food, medical equipment and sanitary supplies to Palestinian refugeesin Lebanon. The funds will be distributed through the UN and internationalrelief agencies working in Lebanon. Over the past three months, the EEC hasgranted ECU 1.4mn ($1.6mn) to victims of the civil war in the country.
