ADB Supports Algeria's Private Agricultural Sector
The African Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to lend Algeria $72mn to finance the country's private agricultural sector, according to an agreement signed on 10 March. The funds will be provided to the Algerian Bank for Agricultural and Rural Development and will be used for the purchase of livestock breeding equipment and building animal sheds. The loan is repayable in 14 years.
