UK Aids Refugees in Lebanon
Britain has agreed to provide £550,000 ($880,000) in relief aid for refugees in Lebanon, according to an embassy statement issued in Beirut on 27 March. £300,000 will go to the International Committee of the Red Cross and £250,000 to UNRWA. The sum is part of £5mn the British Government has allocated for refugees around the world.
