Joint Venture Phosphoric Acid to Be Set up in Dubai
Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company of India and Mozak International, a UK firm, have reportedly agreed to build a $60mn phosphoric acid plant in Jebel Ali, Dubai. The joint venture, which will be capitalized at $20mn, plans to import rock phosphate for the plant from Jordan, and the phosphoric acid produced will be sold to diammonium phosphate manufacturers in India for use as a fertilizer feedstock.
