Japanese Liftings of Kuwait Crude
According to Tokyo reports, three Japanese trading houses - Mitsubishi Corp., Mitsui and C. Itoh - are planning to lift a total of 3.5-4.0mn barrels of Kuwait crude during April under exchange deals with Brent crude, with Kuwait crude priced at the official level of $16.67/B. Under similar deals, Mitsubishi Corp., Mitsui and Kanematsu-Gosho are reportedly planning to lift 3mn barrels of Kuwait crude in May.
