Production Averaged 218,000 b/d in First Quarter
MEES learns that crude oil production in Qatar averaged 218,000 b/d in the first quarter of 1987, nearly 25% below its OPEC quota of 285,000 b/d. Output in February-March averaged only 180,000-185,000 b/d, some 37% below quota.
