OPEC Countries Decrease Foreign Bank Deposits by $22bn in 1986
Figures recently released by the Basle-based Bank for International Settlements (BIS) indicate that bank deposits held in the principal industrialized nations by OPEC states declined by $22.1bn during 1986, of which $5bn was withdrawn during the final quarter of the year.
