Distrigaz Goes to Arbitration over LNC Deal

Distrigaz of Belgium and Algeria's Sonatrach have apparently failed to reach agreement on long-term arrangements for Belgian imports of Algerian liquefied natural gas (LNG), following the expiry on 1 May of the one-year interim agreement concluded last year (MEES, 23 June 1986), and Distrigaz is again resorting to arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce in Geneva.
