Oil Production Drops 1.4% in May
Egyptian crude oil production fell by 1.4% to 913,600 b/d in May from 926,500 b/d in April, according to statistics supplied to MEES by the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). The average output for the first quarter amounted to 875,700 b/d and for the first five months of the year to 893,600 b/d (see table below).
