Refining Capacity to Rise 36.7% in coming Five Years
Egypt's refining capacity is scheduled to rise by 7.7mn tons/year, or 36.7%, from the current level of about 21mn tons/year to 28.7mn tons/year by the end of the 1987/88-1991/92 five-year plan which starts next month, Oil Minister Abd El-Hady Kandil said on 5 June during a visit to the oil refineries at Suez.
