UASC Registers a Net Loss of Over $30mn in 1986
The Kuwaiti-based Arab joint-venture firm, the United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), registered a net loss in 1986 of KD 8.9mn ($30.4mn at the 1986 year-end exchange rate of 1KD = $3.42) compared to KDl.96mn ($6.7mn) in 1985, according to a statement by the company's Director General, Mr. 'Abd al-'Aziz Sallat.
