Nasco Shelves Joint Venture with GM
The Egyptian state-owned Nasr Automative Manufacturing Company (Nasco) has decided to shelve the agreement concluded with GM last year (MEES, 23 June 1986) for the assembly of Opel's 1.2-liter Corsa and 1.6-liter Asconia cars in Egypt, a Nasco official told AFP in Cairo on 17 June.
