Second Pipeline to Start at End of July
MEES is reliably informed that the second Iraqi-Turkish pipeline is currently being tested and filled and will be operational at the end of July. The new 46-inch, 920-km. pipeline expansion will carry 500,000 b/d of crude oil from Iraq's northern oil fields to the Ceyhan terminal on Turkey's Mediterranean coast.
