TEPIX Steady Despite Political Unrest

The Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) has reacted mildly to the recent post-election political turmoil in Iran. The TEPIX index which stood at 9,343.3 on 10 June, on the eve of the 12 June presidential election, fell by 96 points to a low of 9,247.2 on 17 June, before bouncing back to 9,339.0 at the close of trading on 24 June.
