Kuna Report Cites Growing Support within OPEC for $20/B
A Kuwaiti News Agency (Kuna) report published in the Kuwaiti press on 10 July has suggested citing "high level Gulf oil sources" that there has emerged an "understanding" between a number of leading OPEC countries, including Saudi Arabia, Libya, Algeria and Iran, that OPEC's current $18/B official price should be raised to $20/B at the beginning of 1988.
