Syria Concludes Oil Concession Agreement with Total/CFP
Syria has concluded an oil production-sharing agreement with Total/CFP of France covering 9,330 sq. kms. in northeast Syria, bordering on Pecten's Dair al-Zur concession (which contains the producing Tayyim field) and Tricentrol's newly-awarded 'Abd al-'Aziz concession. The Total/CFP concession area consists mainly of acreage relinquished by Pecten.
