OFID Lends $90.1mn in 1986
The OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) last year committed loans and grants totalling $90.14mn, compared to $113.5mn in 1985, according to the Fund's Annual Report for 1986. Additional funding equivalent to $270,000 in the currencies of recipient countries were raised in the form of local counterpart funds. These funds are generated under balance of payments support and program loans made by the OPEC Fund....
