AMF Lends $119mn in 1986
Total loans extended by the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) in 1986 were Arab Accounting Dinars (AAD's) 33.86mn ($119.17mn), compared to AAD 50.96mn ($179mn) in 1985, the reason behind this decline being the fact that a large loan was extended to Iraq in 1985 which amounted to 55% of the total loans for that year, according to the Fund's 1986 Annual Report.
