Technical Fault Causes Fire at Shuaiba Refinery
On 1 August, a fire broke out in the vacuum distillation unit and the kerosene reformer at the 200,000 b/d Shuaiba refinery due to a technical fault, according to a statement issued on 2 August by an official of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).
