China to Purchase Iranian Crude
China is to buy 1mn tons (20,000 b/d) of crude oil from Iran over a one-year period beginning in September, according to the official Iranian news agency IRNA. An agreement to this effect was signed in Tehran on 4 August by Iranian Oil Minister Gholamreza Aghazadeh and visiting Chinese Commerce Minister Liu Yi.
