Oil and Gas Output up 13.7% in First Half of 1987
Egypt's oil and gas output rose to 25,346,000 metric tons in the first half of 1987, according to preliminary figures obtained by MEES from the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). This represents an increase of 13.7% over the corresponding figure of 22,289,000 tons in the first half of 1986 and 6.4% over the corresponding figure of 23,831,000 tons in the first half of 1985.
