Bahrain's 1986 Budget Deficit Rises to $19.5mn as Oil Revenues Fall
Bahrain had an actual budget deficit of BD19.5mn ($51.9mn) in 1986 compared to an actual budget surplus of BD24.7mn ($65.7mn) in 1985, according to recent figures published by the Bahrain Monetary Agency (BMA) in its 1986 Annual Report. Actual revenues in 1986 fell 12.3% to BD467.6mn from BD533.2mn the previous year, with oil revenues dropping 34.1% to BD247.2mn in 1986...
