Malaysia Raises Production Ceiling to 500,000 b/d
Malaysia is to raise its oil output to 500,000 b/d as of next month, according to the Chairman of the national oil company Petronas, Mr. Mohar Badiozaman. Mr. Badiozaman told the Malaysian news agency on 9 September that the government had decided to increase production after taking the situation in the world oil market into consideration. Malaysia cut its output from 510,000 b/d to 459,000 b/d last year in support of OPEC's market...
