North Yemen Signs Two Aid Agreements
North Yemen signed aid agreements on 26 July with West Germany and the FAO worth a total of $3.4mn. West Germany will contribute DM3mn ($1.6mn) towards financing a potable water project, while Switzerland will provide $1.8mn to enable the FA0 to carry out the second phase of an afforestation project.
