NBK Estimates GCC State Reserves at $205bn in 1986
According to estimates published last week by the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), the aggregate reserves of the governments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in 1986 were $204.7bn, with the Kuwaiti government holding the largest part of the total, at $86bn. Saudi reserves are estimated at $80bn, followed by the UAE with $22bn, Qatar with $12bn, Oman with $3.1bn and Bahrain with $1.6bn....
