Iraq Approves Award Of Power Projects To Hyundai And Metka
The Iraqi government has approved projects to build two power plants in southern Iraq with a total cost of $657mn. The first project is awarded to South Koreas Hyundai Engineering Company for a 1.5gw plant in Rumaila at a cost of $308mn, while the second goes to Greeces Metka for a 1.25gw plant in Basra at a cost of $349mn.
