UAE Denies Overproduction
The UAE Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has denied reports that the UAE is exceeding its OPEC quota. A statement to the Emirates news agency by "an official Oil Ministry source" on 23 September emphasized "the UAE's full compliance with OPEC decisions" and described reports of overproduction as "totally untrue and completely contradictory to the facts."
