US Extends $253 in Aid to Egypt
The US has agreed to supply Egypt with aid worth $253mn, according to agreements signed in Cairo on 21 September. The sum constitutes the remaining aid funds for 1987 and is to be allocated to commodity imports ($100mn) and public and private sector projects.
