OPEC's MEC Puts Off Price Audit
OPEC's Ministerial Executive Council has decided to postpone for the time being its planned audit of prices and pricing practices in member countries. This decision of the Council was unanimously endorsed by the recent OPEC ministerial conference in Vienna on 3-4 October. Meanwhile, the Council will continue its auditing of export and production volumes in member countries.
