GCC Insurance Companies Allowed to Operate in Member States
The Finance Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) agreed at a meeting in Riyadh last month on a proposal to allow insurance companies fully owned by Gulf states or nationals to open branches and operate in the six member states (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and the UAE).
