USSR Again Raises Urals Price
The Soviet Union has raised the price of its Urals export crude by 70 cents/B to $27.60/B, effective 1 November. Since the beginning of July the price of Urals has been raised by over $2/B (from $25.50/B) in five separate moves: by 50 cents/B in mid-August; by two separate increases of 25 cents/B in the first half of September; and by 40 cents/B effective 16 September.
