Taiwan to Renew Saudi Crude Oil Import Deal
The Chinese Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced that its current 60,000 b/d crude oil import deal with Saudi Arabia's Petromin, which expires in December, will be renewed at the same level for the next three years. CPC, which increased its liftings of Saudi crude from 50,000 b/d to 60,000 b/d in mid-1984 (MEES, 21 May 1984), hopes to sign the new contract next month.
