Reported Saudi Netback Deal for Petrobras, but Not for Veba
According to as yet unconfirmed oil industry reports, Brazil's Petrobras has concluded a 50,000 b/d crude supply deal with Saudi Arabia on a netback price basis.
At the same time, MEES is reliably informed that earlier reports to the effect that West Germany's Veba had signed a 100,000 b/d netback deal with Saudi Arabia (MEES, 18 November) are not correct.
