KUFPEC's Exploration Expenditure Rose to $85 in 1984
The Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the state-owned Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), spent in 1984 a total of KD24.8mn ($84.9mn at the current rate of exchange) on its exploration activities, a 73% increase over costs in 1983 of KD14.3mn ($49mn), according to the company's Annual Report which has just been released.
